Jadhav, Shami polish off Aussies: 1st ODI (Hyderabad)

Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni guided India to a six-wicket victory for India against Australia.

Paceman Mohammad Shami took 2-44 to contain Australia to an under par 236-7 after Khawaja provided a good platform with 50 at the top of the order.

India reached the target in the 49th over thanks to an unbroken stand of 141 from Jadhav and Dhoni.

India 240 for 4 (Jadhav 81*, Dhoni 59*, Kohli 44) beat Australia 236 for 7 (Khawaja 50, Maxwell 40, Carey 36, Kuldeep 2-46, Shami 2-44) by six wickets.
