Jason Roy slams 153, crushes Bangladesh: 2019 WC #12 (Cardiff)

Opener Jason Roy slammed 153 as England posted their highest World Cup total in a 106-run defeat of Bangladesh.

The hosts scored 386-6 after Roy's powerful 153 was backed by Jonny Bairstow who made 51 and Jos Buttler smashed 64.

In reply, Shakib Al Hasan made a hard fought 121 but Bangladesh were bowled out for 280.

England 386 for 6 (Roy 153, Buttler 64, Bairstow 51) beat Bangladesh 280 (Shakib 121, Stokes 3-23) by 106 runs.
