Shami routs South Africa for 203 run win: 1st Test, Day 5 (Visakhapatnam)

Paceman Mohammed Shami picked up a five-wicket haul while left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja took four to deliver India a convincing 203-run over South Africa.

Dane Piedt held up the Indians, top-scoring for the touring side with 56. He put on 91 for the 9th wicket with Muthusamy after South Africa had crumbled to 70-8.

India: 502-7 dec (Agarwal 215, Rohit 176) & 323-4 dec (Rohit 127) beat South Africa: 431 (Elgar 160, De Kock 111, Ashwin 7-145) & 191 (Piedt 56, Shami 5-35) by 203 runs.
