Paceman Mohammad Shami took 4-31 as India completed a victory by an innings and 130 runs to go 1-0 up in the two-Test series.

Mushfiqur Rahim waged a lone war as he struck his 20th Test fifty but Bangladesh were bowled out for 213 to go down by an innings and 130 runs.

India 493 for 6 dec (Agarwal 243, Rahane 86, Jadeja 60*, Pujara 54, Jayed 4-108) beat Bangladesh 150 (Mushfiqur 43, Shami 3-27) and 213 (Mushfiqur 64, Shami 4-31) by an innings and 130 runs.
