Andre Russell six blitz overcomes SL: 2nd T20 (Pallekele)

Allrounder Andre Russell hit six sixes in a blistering 14-ball innings as West Indies smashed their way to a seven-wicket victory over Sri Lanka.

After winning the toss, Allen took 2-24 as the West Indies limited Sri Lanka to 155 for six.

In reply, opener Brandon King struck 43 off 21 balls and Russell made 40 not out off just 14 balls as West Indies raced to 158 for three in 17 overs.

The Windies won the series 2-0.

West Indies 158 for 3 (King 43, Hetmyer 43*, Russell 40*) beat Sri Lanka 155 for 6 (Shanaka 31*, Allen 2-24) by 7 wickets.
