Southee halts Windies reply: 1st Test, Day 3 (Hamilton)

Paceman Tim Southee took four for 35 as the West Indies could add only 89 runs to their overnight 49 without loss.

When the rain came, Southee was 11 wickets short of 300 test wickets, behind Daniel Vettori and Richard Hadley in NZs all time list.

Blackwood and Joseph repaired the damage with an unbroken stand of 107 for the 7th wicket.
