NZ crumble under Jadeja, Ashwin spell: 3rd Test, Day 2 (Mumbai):

Spin duo Ravindra Jadeja (4-52) and Ravichandran Ashwin (3-63) weaved their magic to give India the edge against New Zealand in Mumbai.

New Zealand were reduced to 171 for nine by the Indian spinners, leading India by 143, with the surface beginning to break up.

Earlier, Shubman Gill (90) and Rishabh Pant (60) counterpunched for a brilliant 96-run stand. But India's batting then crumbled to the spin of Ajaz Patel (5-103) to be bowled out for 263.

New Zealand 235 and 171 for 9 (Young 51, Jadeja 4-52, Ashwin 3-63) lead India 263 (Gill 90, Pant 60, Ajaz 5-103) by 143 runs.
