Teenage Ghazanfar triggers sensational Bangladesh collapse: 1st ODI (Sharjah)

18 year old spinner Allah Ghazanfar's career-best 6 for 26 ensured a 92 run win by Afghanistan over Bangladesh in the 1st ODI.

Ghazanfar dismantled Bangladesh’s middle and lower order as they lost 7-11 in a few minutes of mayhem to be dismissed for 143.

Earlier, Nabi hit 84 off 79 balls after captain Hashmatullah Shahidi stroked 52. The hosts were dismissed for 235 in 49.4 overs having won the toss and batted first.

Afghanistan 235 (Nabi 84, Shahidi 52, Taskin 4-53, Mustafizur 4-58) beat Bangladesh 143 (Shanto 47, Sarkar 33, Ghazanfar 6-26) by 92 runs.
