Kagiso Rabada was born on 25 May 1995 in Johannesburg. He is a tall right arm fast bowler who swings the ball both ways.
Rabada was chosen to represent South Africa's Under-19 side for the 2014 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Dubai which South Africa won. He was their best bowler claiming 14 wickets. This led to his first class debut for Gauteng Lions in 2014.
He made his international debut when he was selected in the 1st ODI against Bangladesh in Dhaka in July 2015. He took 6-16, including a hat trick.
Rabada made his Test debut for South Africa against India in the 1st Test at Mohali on 5 November 2015 taking 1-30.
