Jason Edward Riche Gallian, born on June 25, 1971, in Manly, Sydney, is a former English Test cricketer who began his career in Australia.
He captained the Australian Under-19 team in 1989 and 1990 before moving to England, where he studied at Oxford University and played first-class cricket for the university team.
Gallian made his Test debut for England in 1995, appearing in three matches with a top score of 28.
Over a 15-year county career, he played for Lancashire, Nottinghamshire—where he also served as captain—and Essex, amassing over 15,000 first-class runs, including a highest score of 312.
