Allround Jadeja steers win, India go 2-0 up: 3rd Test, Day 4 (Mohali)

Ravindra Jadeja (90 and 2/62) shone as India dimissed England for 236 in their second innings for a crushing 8 wicket win.

Joe Root (78) and young Haseeb Hameed (59 not out off 156 balls) coming in at No 8 due to a finger injury helped England cross 200-run mark. India chased down the 103 runs required with ease after Parthiv Patel smashed his way to an unbeaten 67 off 53 balls studded with 11 fours and a six.

India 417 (Jadeja 90, Ashwin 72, Kohli 62, Jayant 55, Pujara 51, Stokes 5-73, Rashid 4-118) and 104 for 2 (Parthiv 67*) beat England 283 (Bairstow 89, Shami 3-63) and 236 (Root 78, Hameed 59*, Ashwin 3-81) by eight wickets.
