Ravindra ton guides Kiwis into semis: 2025 No 6 BAN v NZL (Rawalpindi)

Rachin Ravindra stroked a classy century as New Zealand moved into the semifinals of the ICC Champions Trophy with a dominant five-wicket win over Bangladesh at Rawalpindi.

Bangladesh made a good start but got bogged down to finish with 236-9. Hossain Shanto posted 77 and Jaker Ali struck a rapid 45. Off spinner Michael Bracewell picked up 4-26.

In reply, New Zealand were in early trouble losing Will Young for a duck and Kane Williamson for five. Ravindra's 112 and Tom Latham's 55 secured the victory with 23 balls to spare.

New Zealand 240 for 5 (Ravindra 112, Latham 55) beat Bangladesh 236 for 9 (Shanto 77, Bracewell 4-26, O'Rourke 2-40) by five wickets.
