Explosive Kishan knock delivers commanding Indian win over Zimbabwe: 2nd T20 (Harare)

Ishan Kishan was in dominant batting form as India wrapped up the three-match T20I series with a match to spare after crushing Zimbabwe by 90 runs in the second T20I at Harare.

After being sent in to bat, India amassed an imposing 219/5 thanks to Ishan Kishan’s sparkling 81 from 44 balls and an unbeaten 60 from Tilak Varma off just 29 deliveries. Their aggressive batting ensured Zimbabwe faced a daunting target from the outset.

Zimbabwe’s reply never gained momentum as regular wickets derailed the chase. Brian Bennett top-scored with a brisk 32, but the hosts were bowled out for 129 in 17.5 overs.

Part time spinner Abhishek Sharma led India’s attack with 3-17, while debutant Yash Thakur chipped in with two wickets, sealing a comprehensive victory and an unbeatable 2-0 lead in the series.

India 219 for 5 (Kishan 81, Tilak 60, Bennett 1-22) beat Zimbabwe 129 (Bennett 32, Abhishek 3-17, Prince 2-10) by 90 runs.
