India has SL under pressure despite Dinusha ton: 2nd Test, Day 4 (SSC)

Sri Lanka were bowled out for 290 in their first innings on Day 4, giving India a commanding 213-run lead and prompting Shubman Gill to enforce the follow-on.

Sonal Dinusha again stood out with a second successive century, making 103, but India’s bowlers eventually broke through, with Prasidh Krishna and Manav Suthar taking three wickets each and Saransh Jain claiming two.

Sri Lanka fought much harder in their second innings, with Pasindu Sooriyabandara (92) and Kamindu Mendis (55) adding 115 for the third wicket to erase the first-innings deficit.

India struck back late, but heavy rain brought an early end with Sri Lanka on 229/6, just 16 runs ahead, leaving India only four wickets away from victory and a 2–0 series sweep.
