England executed a stunning Day 2 fightback at Lord’s, transforming their overnight 248/9 into 290 before their pace attack tore through Pakistan for a meager 110.

Ollie Robinson led the demolition with a relentless 4/11, while Jofra Archer claimed 3/26 in a blistering spell that relentlessly unsettled the visitors.

Only Azan Awais (46) showed genuine resilience as Pakistan conceded a massive 180-run first-innings deficit. Despite a shaky start to their second effort—slipping to 13/2—England steadied the ship through Emilio Gay (30*) and Joe Root (26). Though Root fell late in the day, England closed on 81/3 to extend their overall lead to 261.

With Pakistan’s top order exposed once again against a ruthless four-man pace assault, the hosts hold a commanding position and are firmly on track to seal a 2–0 series lead.
