Six fest from Razaullah enables Pakistan to set England target: 3rd Test, Day 3 (Edgbaston)

Newcomer Razaullah delivered a blistering innings as Pakistan produced a remarkable fightback on Day 3, recovering from 52/2 to 449 all out to deny England an innings victory and turn the Test into a genuine contest.

Shan Masood (95) and Azan Awais (59) initially rescued Pakistan with a 125-run partnership, before Babar Azam (76) added another important contribution.

The real drama came late in the day when debutant paceman Razaullah smashed 81 from just 73 balls, including nine sixes, in a sensational 121-run ninth-wicket partnership with Mohammad Abbas (42).

His extraordinary assault transformed what had looked like a one-sided Test into a tense finish, leaving England needing 130 runs for victory on the final day.

Pakistan 133 and 449 (Masood 95, Razaullah 81, Babar 76, Awais 59) lead England 453 by 129 runs.
