Kepler Wessels: Memories of Australian cricket

He was the first man to have played one day international cricket for two countries. In this interview Kepler Wessels talks about playing for Australia and then captaining South Africa in its first ever world cup match against Australia in 1992.

He talks about the highs and lows of his career and how he enjoys coming back to Australia. After being picked in World Series Cricket Wessels made his debut for Australia against England in 1982 at the Gabba. He became the first SouthAfrican born person to play for Australia and the 13th Australian player to score a century on debut. He retired after the 1994 series at home against Australia handing the reigns to Hansie Cronje. He also comments on the 3rd days play in the 3rd Test at the SCG between RSA and Aus.
