Cant take the heat: Umpire collapses in Australian match

Ricky Ponting had to aid the umpire as the Australia tour match against the England Lions ended in unusual circumstances after the players agreed to finish early following a five minute delay while umpire Jeff Evans was treated after collapsing due to heat exhaustion as he walked towards squareleg.

The 54yearold Welshman walked from the field after paramedics and a doctor had been called. He recovered later but was sent to hospital for tests.
