The Sledge that Backfired: McGrath-Sarwan Spat
West Indian vice-captain 21 yearold Ramnaresh Sarwan was steering his side towards a second innings total of 417.
McGrath could contain himself no longer and resorted to an unoriginal homophobicthemed sledge with Sarwan replying with an equally cliched retort relating to his rival's wife.
At this point in time, this was the highest run-chase in Test history. See full list here.
4th Test Antigua 9 May 2003.
