Clarke, Warner & Hussey plunder hapless Proteas: 2nd Test, Day 1 (Adelaide) - 1 of 2

Michael Clarke rescued Australia with a double century, a little more than a week after scoring a defiant 259 not out at the Gabba.

Clarke had strong support from Mike Hussey (103) and Dave Warner (119) who scored centuries in the record-breaking day.Australia went from 54-3 to 482-5 with Clarke on 224 (39 fours and a six) as the Proteas bowling attack wilted.
