Hobart team: Hughes replaces Ponting
Phil Hughes (24) was recalled to the Australia squad to replace the retired Ricky Ponting for the start of the three-Test series against Sri Lanka. Hughes was preferred to Usman Khawaja, Rob Quiney and Alex Doolan. Fast bowlers Peter Siddle and Ben Hilfenhaus have also been recalled after being rotated out for the 3rd and final test against South Afruca that the Aussies lost. 1st Test, Hobart, Dec 2012
