Chandimal leads Sri Lanka to win, go 2-0, despite rain: 2nd ODI (RPS)

Stand-in skipper Dinesh Chandimal led from the front as Sri Lanka took a 2-0 lead, winning the rain-affected second ODI by 17 runs.

South Africa chasing a revised target of 176 in 29 overs, could only reach 104 for five off 21 overs.

Earlier, Sri Lanka made 223-9 in 49.2 overs before heavy rain ended the innings.

Sri Lanka 223 for 9 (Dilshan 43, Chandimal 43, Morkel 3-34) beat South Africa 104 for 5 (Herath 2-16) by 17 runs (D/L method).
