Time up for pup: Clarke quits after Ashes rout (Trent Bridge)

Michael Clarke will retire from international cricket at the end of the 5th Ashes Test after being told he would not be selected for the next series. Clarke quit after being told by the Australia management he would not be in the side after the Oval Ashes Test where he is averaging 16 in the four Tests. His team went down 3-1 in the series to Alastair Cook’s team at Trent Bridge with one game to go. Aug 2015
