Dimuth stands firm as Pakistan paceman strike: 1st Test, Day 1 (Rawalpindi)

Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne scored 59 as Pakistan's bowlers took five wickets before play was ended early due to bad light.

Karunaratne and Oshada Fernando (40) put on 96 for the first wicket before pacemen Abbas and Afridi struck.

This is the first test played in Pakistan since the Lahore attack on the SL team in 2009.

The visitors scored 205 runs at 68.1 overs. Sri Lanka 1st innings 202/5 (D Karunaratne 59, DM de Silva 38*, N Dickwella 11*, 68.1 ov) v Pakistan.
