Malan, Ngidi overcome Aussie for series win: 2nd ODI (Bloemfontein)

Opener Janneman Malan struck a sparkling unbeaten maiden ODI century and Lungi Ngidi took six wickets to guide South Africa to a six-wicket win over Australia which sealed victory in the series.

Australia won the toss and chose to bat, with Finch and Short hitting fifties to help them post 271 all out. Ngidi took a career-best figures of 6-58.

In reply, Malan smashed 129 not out from 139 balls to lead the home side to victory with nine balls to spare. He put on 90 with David Miller (37 not out) to deliver the victory.

South Africa 274 for 4 (Malan 129*, Klaasen 51) beat Australia 271 (Finch 69, Short 69, Ngidi 6-58) by six wickets.
