Pakistan win series over Aussies with hot pace: 3rd ODI (Perth)

Pakistan defeated Australia by eight wickets in Perth after their pacemen demolished the Aussie top order.

Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf bowled with pace and bounce as Australia collapsed and then scrambled to 140. Tail-ender Sean Abbott top-scored with 30 from 41 balls with opener Matt Short adding 22.

In reply, Pakistan reached the victory target with 139 balls to spare to wrap up a rare triumph over the world champions; their first series victory in Australia since 2002.

Pakistan 143 for 2 (Ayub 42, Shafique 37, Morris 2-24) beat Australia 140 (Abbott 30, Afridi 3-32, Naseem 3-54, Rauf 2-24) by eight wickets.
