Shere Bangla National Stadium

Shere Bangla National stadium is situated in Mirpur. The stadium is named after Bengali politician A K Fazlaq Huq who was popularly called Sher-e-Bangla (meaning the "Tiger of Bengal").
The ground was established in 2006 and hosted its first international match when Bangladesh took on India in an ODI in 2007. 
The stadium has a seating capacity of 25,000. Floodlights were added in 2009.
