Batting heritage in his veins
Cheteshwar Pujara is the son of former first class cricketer, Arvind Pujara. He was on born on 25 January,1988 in Rajkot, Gujarat.
He is a right hand attacking batsman who first shone when playing India Under-19s with knocks of 97 against West Indies and 129 not out against England in the U-19 World Cup.
He now plays for Kolkata Knight Riders and Saurashtra in domestic Indian cricket. He made his test debut against Australia in the 2nd Test at Bangalore in Oct 2010 when VVS Laxman pulled out due to a back injury.
