Mohammad Irfan was born on 6 June 1982 at Gaggu Mandi in the Punjab, Pakistan. At 7 foot 1 inch, he is reputedly the tallest ever international cricketer.
He plays for Baluchistan and Khan Research Laboratories and is a left arm medium pace bowler. After an impressive debut season which yielded 43 first class wickets, Irfan was selected for Pakistan's ICC T20 World Cup squad in 2010 but did not make the final team.
Irfan made his international debut against England in the 1st ODI at Riverside on 10 Sept 2010 but had to hobble off due to severe cramps in his calf.
