Corey Anderson: Hard hitting allrounder slammed fastest ODI century
Corey Anderson was born on 13 Dec 1990 in Christchurch.
He is a left arm medium paceman who made his first class debut for Central Districts vs Canterbury in 2007. He was selected to make his T20 debut against South Africa in Durban in 2012.
Anderson made his Test debut against Bangladesh at Chittagong in 2013.
In January 2014, he broke Shahid Afridi's World Record for the fastest ODI century. Anderson brought up his century in just 36 balls in the 3rd ODI against the West Indies at Queenstown. Anderson's record was subsequently overtaken by A B de Villiers.
Anderson made a move to the USA in 2021 and subsequently played for them in the 2024 T20 World Cup.
