Gurnoor Singh Brar is a rising Indian fast bowler born on May 25, 2000, in Muktsar, Punjab.

Standing at a towering 6 feet 5 inches (194 cm), he relies heavily on his extreme height to generate unsettling bounce and sharp pace, consistently hitting speeds north of 140 km/h. He represents Punjab in domestic cricket, where he quickly made a name for himself as a relentless first-class enforcer after making his debut in late 2022.

His rapid domestic rise earned him substantial franchise interest, initially joining the Punjab Kings in 2023 as an injury replacement before securing a major 1.3 Crore contract with the Gujarat Titans at the IPL Mega Auction. His raw, high-potential skill set soon caught the eyes of national selectors, leading to a dream senior international debut for Team India during the June 2026 home ODI series against Afghanistan in Dharamshala, where he took 3 for 27.

Tactically, Brar's primary asset is his ability to pound a heavy, back-of-a-length spot that forces batters into awkward, defensive shapes. Under the guidance of national bowling coach Morne Morkel, he has been fine-tuning his death-overs execution by adding a lethal yorker to his arsenal. Given his unique physical attributes and reliance on natural bounce, cricket pundits view him as a specialized weapon ideally suited for hard, lively tracks.
