India down South Africa in nail-biting final (Under 19 World Cup)

Virat Kohli's Indian juniors won cricket's under19 World Cup in 2008 with a tense 12 run victory over unlucky South Africa in a rain hit final.

South Africa needed 20 runs in the final over when skipper Virat Kohli handed over the ball to Kaul who managed to secure the close win. The Proteas already struggling at 3-17 before the rain break finished at 8-103 with Reeza Hendricks making 35 and captain Wayne Parnell contributing a valiant 29.

Earlier, the South Africans bowled India out for a modest 159 and were left chasing a tricky 116 in 25 overs after heavy thunderstorms forced the players off for two hours.
