A sublime 100 in 64 balls from Mahela Jayawardene only the 4th ever in T20 international cricket got the better of Zimbabwe as Sri Lanka kept their World T20 hopes alive with a rainaffected 14run win. Sri Lanka made an imposing 1737. In reply Zimbabwe were handed a revised and generous target of 104 in 11 overs but they were restricted to 291 in 5 overs when the rains came again.
