Ponting knock snatches finals series (1998)

Ricky Ponting smashed 76 as Australia posted 247-7. In reply, South Africa fell 14 runs short as they were bowled out for 233 in 48.1 overs with Reiffel taking 3-40. Australia won the finals series 2-1 and took the CUB trophy. 3rd Final, SCG, 27 Jan 1998.
