Anderson career best seven seals series win: 3rd Test, Day 3 (Lords)

James Anderson took a career-best 7-42 to enable England to win the third Test and seal a 2-1 series win against the West Indies.

Anderson, who took his 500th Test wicket earlier in his spell, took 5 scalps during the day to have West Indies bowled out for 177. Shai Hope posted 62 to hold the innings together.

Chasing a target of 107, an unbroken stand of 72 between Mark Stoneman and Tom Westley delivered a 9 wicket win.

England 194 (Stokes 60, Roach 5-72) and 107 for 1 (Westley 44*, Stoneman 40*) beat West Indies 123 (Stokes 6-22) and 177 (Hope 62, Anderson 7-42) by nine wickets.
