Leg spinner Ish Sodhi (56 not out in 168 balls) batted resolutely to secure a thrilling draw against England, as NZ secured their first home series win over the tourists since 1984.

Earlier, opener Jeet Raval and captain Kane Williamson were dismissed with the opening deliveries by Stuart Broad as the Black Caps struggled to lunch at 124-4.
New Zealand 278 and 256 for 8 (Latham 83, Sodhi 56*) drew with England 307 and 352 for 9 dec (Vince 76, Stoneman 60, Root 54, Malan 53, de Grandhomme 4-94).
