Bairstow, Hales smash Aussies for record ODI score: 3rd ODI (Trent Bridge)

Alex Hales hit 147 and Jonny Bairstow 139 as England crushed Australia by 242 runs, the heaviest defeat suffered by the visitors in ODIs.

England scored 481-6 in 50 overs - eclipsing their own own world record of 444-3, set against Pakistan at the same venue in 2016.

Leg spinner Adil Rashid bowled superbly, taking 4-47 off his 10 overs as Australia crashed to 239 all out.

England 481 for 6 (Hales 147, Bairstow 139) beat Australia 239 (Rashid 4-47, Moeen 3-28) by 242 runs.
