Chahar world record and hat trick seals win over Bangladesh: 3rd T20 (Nagpur)

Paceman Deepak Chahar produced world-best figures of six for seven, including a hat-trick, to cut Bangladesh's chase 30 runs short as India won the series 2-1.

Chahar took his six wickets in 3.2 overs, with a closing hat-trick as Bangladesh were bowled out for 144 in reply to India's 174-5. A fine 81 from opener Mohammad Naim was the only resistance from Bangladesh.

Earlier, half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer (62 off 33 balls) and KL Rahul (52 from 35) set the scene for a powerful Indian score of 174-5.

India 174 for 5 (Iyer 62, Rahul 52, Sarkar 2-29) beat Bangladesh 144 (Naim 81, Chahar 6-7, Dube 3-30) by 30 runs.
