Hasaranga, Sandakan rout Windies: 2nd T20 (Coolidge)

Spinners Hasuranga and Sandakan routed the world champions West Indies to claim a 43-run win in the second Twenty20 International.

Earlier, Danushka Gunathilaka (56) and Pathum Nissanka (37) put on 95 at the top of the order to get Sri Lanka off to a flyer. Although Sri Lanka lost a bit of momentum through the middle and late overs, a cameo from Hasaranga dragged them to 160-6.

In reply, West Indies batsman were completely flummoxed by Lankan spinners as they were bowled out for just 117 runs.

Sri Lanka 160 for 6 (Gunathilaka 56, Nissanka 37, Bravo 2-25) beat West Indies 117 (McCoy 23, Sandakan 3-10, Hasaranga 3-17) by 43 runs.
