Curran shines as wobbly England go 3-0 up: 3rd T20 (St Lucia)

Sam Curran rescued England as they took a 3-0 series lead after beating the West Indies by 3 wickets in a thrilling game at Gros Islet.

Chasing 146 to win, England slipped to 37-3 in the powerplay but Sam Curran smashed 41 from 26 balls to lead the recovery and deliver the win.

Earlier, Rovman Powell struck a fluent 54. Saqib Mahmood and Jamie Overton took three wickets apiece as England restricted West Indies to 145-8.

England 149 for 7 (Curran 41, Hosein 4-22) beat West Indies 145 for 8 (Powell 54, Mahmood 3-17, Overton 3-20) by three wickets.
