Ashton Agar was born on 14 Oct 1993 in Melb, VIC. He is of Sri Lankan origin and is a left arm spinner who made his first class debut for WA against NSW in 2013.
Agar was selected on the Indian tour of 2013 but did not play any Tests.
He made his international debut when he was a shock selection in the 1st Ashes Test at Trent Bridge in July 2013. He had played just 10 first class games and taken 31 wickets with a best of 7-128. Agar scored 98, the highest score by a number 11 in Test history.
