
Aaron Mark Hardie (born 7 January 1999 in Bournemouth, England) is an all‑rounder who bats right‑handed and bowls right‑arm medium‑fast.
Raised in Perth, he made his mark in domestic cricket captaining Western Australia’s U‑19 side to national success and sensationally dismissing England’s Joe Root and India’s Virat Kohli in tour matches before his professional debut.
He debuted for the Perth Scorchers in Big Bash on 9 January 2019 and for Western Australia in Sheffield Shield cricket in March 2019 . His breakthrough arrived in the 2021–22 Shield final, scoring an unbeaten 174 to secure the title for WA and piling up 10 wickets in the final rounds at an average of about 14 .
Hardie made his international debut in September 2023 during Australia’s series in South Africa, featuring in both ODI and T20I formats.
