Duffy stars again as NZ crush SL for series win: 2nd T20 (Bay Oval)

Paceman Jacob Duffy was the star as New Zealand beat Sri Lanka to wrap up their Twenty20 series with a game to spare at Bay Oval.

New Zealand posted 186-5 in their 20 overs, with Mitchell Hay thrashing an unbeaten 41 from 19 deliveries.

Sri Lanka were 72-2 at the halfway stage. Duffy (4-15) bowled Kusal Perera for 48 off 35 with his first delivery of the 3rd over and SL folded for 141.

New Zealand 186 for 5 (Chapman 42, Hay 41, Robinson 41) beat Sri Lanka 141 (Perera 48, Duffy 4-15) by 45 runs.
