Varma inspires thrilling win over England: 2nd T20 (Chennai)

Rookie batsman Tilak Varma powered India's chase with an unbeaten 72 to lead the hosts to a thrilling two-wicket victory over England at Chennai in the 2nd T20.

England bowled well to reduce India to 146-8 after 17 overs, but Tilak Varma's brilliant knock delivered the win with 4 balls to spare.

Earlier, Brydon Carse (31) and Jos Buttler (45) were pivotal in England posting 165-9.

India 166 for 8 (Tilak 72*, Washington 26, Carse 3-29) beat England 165 for 9 (Buttler 45, Carse 31, Axar 2-32, Varun 2-38) by two wickets.
