Neesham skittles Pakistan with career best bowling: 5th T20 (Wellington)

Allrounder Jimmy Neesham’s career best bowling figures gave New Zealand a crushing nine-wicket victory in the final T20 of the five-match series against Pakistan at the Basin Reserve.

Neesham was the standout bowler for New Zealand, taking five wickets for just 22 runs as Pakistan stuttered to 128-9. Only skipper Salman Agh with a polished 51 showed any resistance.

Chasing 129, Seifert smashed 97 not out in 38 balls to take the Black Caps home with 10 overs remaining. Sufiyan Muqeem was the solitary wicket-taker, snapping up 2 wickets for just six runs in his two overs.

New Zealand won the series 4-1.

New Zealand 131 for 2 (Seifert 97*) beat Pakistan 128 for 9 (Agha 51, Neesham 5-22) by eight wickets.
