Black Caps secure win over Pakistan after Hay-maker blast: 2nd ODI (Hamilton)

Wicketkeeper Mitchell Hay blasted 99 not out to help the Black Caps to an easy win in the second ODI against Pakistan at Seddon Park.

Hay (99no off 78) rescued the Kiwi innings which had stalled on 132-5. He launched an impressive acceleration to help NZ reach a total of 292-8.

In reply, Pakistan limped to 208 all out in the 42nd over after paceman Ben Sears took 5-50.

New Zealand took the 3 match series 2-0 after enjoying a 84-run victory.

New Zealand 292 for 8 (Hay 99*, Abbas 41, Muqeem 2-33) beat Pakistan 208 all out (Ashraf 73, Naseem 35, Sears 5-59) by 84 runs.
