South Africa fightback after Cummins six wickets: WTC Final Day 2 (Lords)

Paceman Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi revived South Africa's hopes of a stunning win in the World Test Championship final at Lords.

Australia suffered a dramatic second-innings batting collapse to be 73-7 at one stage and leave the World Test Championship final hanging in the balance. Australia finished the day on 144-8, just 218 ahead.

Earlier, skipper Pat Cummins claimed 6-28 to change the course of play after lunch. The last five South African wickets fell costing just 12 runs. David Bedingham top-scored for the Proteas with a patient 45 as they were all out for 138.

Australia 212 and 144 for 8 (Carey 43, Ngidi 3-35, Rabada 3-44) lead South Africa 138 (Bedingham 45, Bavuma 36, Cummins 6-28) by 218 runs.
