Match finely poised as Bumrah five stops England: 1st Test, Day 3 (Leeds)

Harry Brook's swashbuckling 99 led the charge but Jasprit Bumrah's five wickets halted England’s momentum on the third day of the first Test at Headingley.

Bumrah took 5-83 as India bowled out the hosts for 465 to take a six-run first-innings lead.

Sai Sudharsan (30) fell to Ben Stokes for the second time in the match just prior to the close as India were 90-2 when rain stopped play a half-hour early.

India 471 and 90 for 2 (Rahul 47*) lead England 465 (Pope 106, Brook 99, Duckett 62, Bumrah 5-83) by 96 runs.
