Tanzid, Mahedi deliver Bangladesh series win over SL: 3rd T20 (RPS)
Tanzid and Mahedi starred as Bangladesh made history with their first T20 series win over Sri Lanka in Colombo.
Mahedi took 4-11 as Sri Lanka finished on 132-7. Pathum Nissanka with 46 and Dasun Shanaka’s 35 not out were the only contributions.
Tanzid's unbeaten 73 from 47 deliveries guided the Bangladesh chase as they won the series 2-1.
Bangladesh 133 for 2 (Tanzid 73*, Litton 32, Mendis 1-21) beat Sri Lanka 132 for 7 (Nissanka 46, Shanaka 35*, Mahedi 4-11) by eight wickets.
