Tanzid seals series win as Bangladesh edge Zimbabwe: 3rd T20 (Bulawayo)

Bangladesh completed a fine comeback to win the three-match T20I series 2-1 with a four-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the decider at Bulawayo.

Asked to field first, Bangladesh restricted Zimbabwe to 143 for 7, with Dion Myers top-scoring with 43 and Ryan Burl contributing 30. The visitors’ bowlers kept the scoring under control to leave a manageable target.

In reply, Bangladesh reached 144 for 6 with two balls to spare. Tanzid Hasan Tamim anchored the chase with a match-winning 66 from 58 balls, while the middle and lower order provided the finishing touches under pressure.

The victory completed Bangladesh’s recovery from a first-match defeat and secured the T20I series 2-1.
